Box Score On Saturday the Griffins hosted the University of Charleston in a WVIAC conference contest. The Golden Eagles showed up ready to play defeating Seton Hill 3-0.
 
In first half action play was fairly even between both squads. However, the Golden Eagles took the 1-0 advantage over the Griffins at the 19:00 mark with a goal from Rob Vincent. The Griffins were unable to answer back and entered halftime trailing 1-0.
 
Things did not get much better for Seton Hill in the second half. Twelve minutes into action Garret Listo scored off a pass from Michael Hagarty to extend Charleston's lead 2-0. Rob Vincent would strike again for the Golden Eagles off a pass from Garret Listo at the 74:33 mark adding another tally to the scoreboard and defeating the Griffins 3-0.
 
Scott Matthews recorded five saves in net for the Griffins. With the loss the Griffins fall to 1-5 overall and 1-1 in WVIAC conference play. The Griffins are back in action on Wednesday, September 19, as they face West Virginia Wesleyan at home at 5:00PM.
