Griffins Win Third Straight

Box Score The Griffins were on the road Tuesday competing against The Battlers of Alderson Broaddus. Seton Hill brought back the victory defeating The Battlers 1-0.
 
In first half action both teams played each other evenly as they entered halftime tied 0-0.  In the second half the Griffins got a good look on net as Brenna Novosel released a shot that hit the top of the crossbar. Both teams continued to struggle to score and ended regulation time tied 0-0.
 
The game went into double overtime and in the 105th minute was ended with a goal from Katelyn Wiater to give Seton Hill the 1-0 victory over The Battlers.  Lauren Peretich recorded 2 saves in the net to record the shutout for the Griffins.
 
With the third straight victory Seton Hill's overall record improves to 3-2 overall and 2-0 in WVIAC conference play. Kickoff for the Griffins next game is scheduled for Saturday, September 15th at home starting at 12:00PM against Charleston.
