Box Score The Griffin men's soccer team recorded its first victory of the season in their WVIAC opener when they traveled to Alderson Broaddus on Tuesday evening.  SHU got a goal in the 58th minute to give them a 1-0 victory.  SHU improves to 1-4 overall and 1-0 in WVIAC play. 

The first half of the game was scoreless with Seton Hill holding a 6-5 advantage in shots.  Joe Tchimou led the Griffins with 4 shots in the first half.  Matt Luchetti got the Griffins on the scoreboard with a goal at the 57:59 mark of the game.  His shot beat a diving AB keeper.  Fifteen minutes later, AB almost tied the contest but one of their shots hit the cross bar.  Scott Matthews recorded the shutout in net for the Griffins.

Seton Hill will look to make it two in a row when they host Charleston on Saturday at 2 PM.
