The Seton Hill Men's soccer team started the season off on Thursday, August 30 with a home opener against the Vulcans of California (PA).  California (PA) scored with just 8 seconds left in the first half to take a 2-1 lead and held on for that 2-1 victory.

The Vulcans scored first at the 11:33 mark off a corner kick when Billy Wilson scored off a rebound assisted to take the 1-0 lead. The Griffins answered back with a goal from Matt Luchetti, assisted by Andrew Starcevic, sixteen minutes later to tie the game at 1.  Cal (PA) used a Chris Moehler header off a throw in with 8 seconds remaining to give the Vulcans the advantage entering halftime, 2-1.

During the second half both teams battled hard but neither could put one in the back of the net  The Griffins will take on Lock Haven next at home on Saturday, September 1.  Kickoff scheduled for 2:00PM
