Griffins Tie Shepherd 0-0

Box Score On Saturday afternoon the Griffins hosted the Rams of Shepherd University. Scoring posed a problem for both teams and after 110 minutes of soccer play the contest ended in a 0-0 tie.
 
In the first half play was very even between both squads. As they entered halftime tied 0-0. In the second half the Griffins were unable to take advantage of their 3 corner kick opportunities sending the game into overtime.
 
In overtime Seton Hill maintained possession of the ball for the majority of the time but could not find the back of the net leading to a second overtime. Both teams were hungry for a goal in the second overtime, however neither team was able to put one past the keeper as the contest ended in a 0-0 tie.
 
Bethany Winter recorded 1 save in the net for the Griffins. With the tie Seton Hill now stands at 6-5-1 overall and 3-2-1 in WVIAC conference play. The Griffins face Point Park next on October 10th, at 4:00PM.
