Box Score On Tuesday night the Griffins hosted WVIAC conference opponent West Virginia Wesleyan. Seton Hill was able to keep their winning streak alive making the 3-0 Bobcat sweep their seventh straight victory.
In set one both teams were battling it out. Seton Hill would take the lead then seconds later the Bobcats would close back in. The Griffins were up 15-9 when the Bobcats called a timeout to stop the run. The break didn't help WV Wesleyan as the Griffins continued to increase their advantage. Seton Hill outscored the Bobcats 10-5 securing the 25-14 set one victory.
In set two the Griffins started strong with a 6-1 lead. WV Wesleyan began to warm up and only trailed Seton Hill 20-15. The Griffins managed to fend off the Bobcats finishing the set with a 25-17 win and taking a 2-0 match lead.
In set three Seton Hill was on top again. Back to back blocks by
Larissa Santangelo and
Shelby Kyllo as well as four Bobcat errors gave the Griffins a 6-0 lead. WV Wesleyan closed the gap mid set only trailing by two, 15-13. Bobcats kept the momentum and tied the set up 17-17. A

Kelsey Profio block, and a
Chelsey Regovich kill put the Griffins back ahead 20-17. After a timeout WV Wesleyan answered back once again closing in on the Griffins and only trailing by one 21-20. The Griffins maintained composed and two kills from
Abigail Malsch, a Bobcat error, and a
Corrine Gahagen ace gave Seton Hill the 25-20 win and 3-0-match victory.
Abigail Malsch led the Griffins offense with 12 kills and
Corrine Gahagen added 9 kills.
Courtney Field earned 16 assists while
Kelsey Profio earned 14 assists for the night. On the defensive end
Lauren Teed recorded 15 digs and
Abigail Malsch recorded 14 digs.
Shelby Kyllo had 4 blocks in match. With the win the Griffins improve to 14-10 overall and 8-2 in WVIAC conference play. Seton Hill will be on the road for their next match as they travel to Lock Haven to take on Cheyney University at 1:00PM
