Box Score On Friday afternoon the Griffins hosted Carlow University in a non-conference contest. The Griffins second half effort let Seton Hill sail to a 3-0 senior day victory.
 
In first half action Seton Hill battled Carlow for every ball. The Griffin offense pulled through with an Alysha Alaimo goal assisted by Brenna O'Leary with a minute left to take a 1-0 lead entering halftime.
 
In the second half Carlow was working to make up the deficit. However, the Griffins were playing lockdown defense and continued to stay on the attack. At the 80:48 mark Breanna Novosel put one in the net off of an Andrea Wisniewski pass to increase the Seton Hill advantage 2-0. Two minutes later Seton Hill struck again this time with a goal from Brenna O'Leary assisted again by Wisniewski to make the final score of the contest 3-0.
 
Bethany Winter recorded 2 saves in the net for Seton Hill. With the win the Griffins improve to 8-5-1 overall. Seton Hill will travel to Pitt-Johnstown on October 14^th, for their next match at 6:00 PM.
