Box Score The Griffins faced the Pioneers of Point Park University in a non-conference match up on Wednesday afternoon. The Griffins were on the attack from the whistle and defeated Point Park 3-1.
 
In the first half the scoreboard lit up quickly as Heather Apodaca scored off of a Brenna O'Leary corner kick to give the Griffins a 1-0 advantage two minutes into action. Four minutes later Seton Hill struck again with a goal from Katelyn Wiater assisted again by O'Leary to make it a 2-0 contest at the 6:30 mark. The Griffins continued to maintain possession and test the Pioneer defense throughout the rest of the half. However no more goals would be scored and the Griffins entered halftime leading Point Park 2-0.
 
In the second half the Griffins continued to control the momentum of the game as they managed to outshoot the Pioneers 11-4. The Griffins relentless effort on offense paid off as Alysha Alaimo passed the ball to Paula Florez who drilled one in the back of the net increasing the Seton Hill lead 3-0 at the 73:56 mark. With five minutes left to play the Pioneers managed to get on the scoreboard scoring a goal at the 84.45 mark to make the final tally 3-1.
 
In goal Lauren Peretich recorded 1 save and Dymphena Clark recorded 3 saves for the Griffins. With the victory Seton Hill's record improves to 7-5-1 overall.  The Griffins will host Carlow University next on October 12th, at 4:00PM.
