Alessandro continued his excellent wrestling with a second place finish at the highly competitive Midwest Classic. Its the second week in a row he has placed second in a very tough tournament. The top ranked Alessandro won three matches on Saturday to advance to the semifinal on Sunday. He defeated #2 Nick Crume 3-1 in the semifinals before falling 7-2 to #4 ranked Nate Rodriguez in the finals.
