Patterson led the Griffin defense to a 42-21 win at West Liberty on Saturday afternoon. He had a pair of interceptions in the win. Patterson put the game away with a 74 yard interception return for touchdown with 9:34 left in the third that gave the Griffins a 35-14 lead.
