Fukushima hit .571 (4-7) in a doubleheader sweep of Mt Olive to open the season for the Griffins. Brooklyn had two homers and drove in five. Fukushima hit a two run homer then singled in the winning run in the eighth inning of game one. She added another two run homer in game two.
