Joey led the Griffins to a seventh place finish at the PSAC Championships with a second place finish in the 141 pound weight class.  Alessandro is the highest placing Griffin in a PSAC Championship in school history.  Alessandro opened with a 3-0 win over Chris Eddins (UPJ).  He followed that with a 22-2 tech fall win over Kyle Loeb of Millersville.  Joey advanced to the finals with a thrilling 13-12 semifinal victory over Ozzy Lugo (Boro).  Alessandro dropped a 15-0 decision to Ronald Perry of Lock Haven in the finals.  Perry is ranked in the top 20 in many Division I rankings.
