Meyers earned a trip to NCAA Nationals with a regional championship at 285 pounds at the NCAA Super Regional.  Meyers opened his day with a 9-0 win in his first matchup.  He followed that up with a win by fall (1:15) in his quarterfinal.  John then won 7-5 in overtime over Daniel Scheib of Shippensburg in the semifinal.  Meyers then defeated Isaiah Vance of Pitt Johnstown in the final by a 3-1 score with a late takedown.
