James Cobbs will begin his second season with the Seton Hill staff during the 2024 season. He will serve as the wide receivers coach.
In his first season on the hill, Cobbs coached one All PSAC West first team performer.
Prior to Seton Hill, Cobbs spent three seasons at North Park University as Special Teams Coordinator and Wide Receivers Coach. Cobbs also spent two seasons as an assistant at his alma mater, Carthage College. At Carthage, Cobbs mentored two First Team All CCIW student athletes.
As a student athlete at Carthage, James earned First Team All CCIW honors in 2016 when he finished with 730 receiving yards and seven touchdowns. He finished his career with 2,218 receiving yards and 17 touchdowns. Cobbs graduated from Carthage in 2018 with a Bachelors Degree in Exercise and Sports Science.
