Seton Hill battled Shippensburg in an elimination game on Thursday evening at the PSAC Softball Championships in Quakertown, PA.  The Griffins saw their season end with a 3-1 loss to the Raiders in a game in which neither team scored until the seventh inning.  SHU ends the season at 22-24. 
 
After giving up a leadoff single, starter Amanda Huff was able to strand the runner at second base in the top of the first inning.  Victoria Stock gunned down a runner at second base to end the top of the second inning. 
 
Chelsea Rohan got the Griffins first hit in the bottom of the third inning when she dropped one in front of the left fielder.  The Raiders got a one out double in the fifth but could not get her past third base. 
 
In the bottom of the fifth, Paige Hertzog singled to lead off the inning.  A force play at second on a bunt and a caught stealing ended the Griffin threat in the fifth.  Stock walked with one out in the sixth and moved to second on a bunt from Brooke Bower but a pop out ended the inning. 
 
Shippensburg hit a leadoff homer in the top of the sixth inning to take a 1-0 lead.  They added to their lead with a two run homer to increase their lead to 3-0 heading to the bottom of the seventh. 
 
Abbey Suhoski led off the bottom of the seventh with a bomb to left center field to cut the lead to 3-1. 
 
Huff ended her career as the lone Griffin with multiple hits, finishing the game with two.
