McClam and Elardo Named to All PSAC Football Teams

The PSAC league office announced the 2017 All PSAC Football teams on Wednesday afternoon and two members of the Griffin football team were named to the teams.  Senior running back Jarvis McClam was a first team running back while sophomore wide receiver Michael Elardo was named to the second team.  McClam was named a first team selection in 2015 as a return specialist.  This is the first all conference award for Elardo.

McClam finished as the Griffins leading rusher.  He had 905 on 137 carries with 9 rushing touchdowns.  He broke the Seton Hill single game record for rushing yards with 291 on Senior Day against Slippery Rock.  His mark bested the mark of Antward Jones who rushed for 253 yards vs WV Wesleyan in 2007. He also had 34 catches for 396 yards and two touchdowns.  Jarvis was seventh in the PSAC in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns.  As a sophomore, McClam was named to the Don Hansen's All Super Region I team as a third team selection and was an ECAC Division II All Star.

Elardo led the Griffins with 59 receptions on the season.  He finished with 948 receiving yards and a team high six touchdowns.  Michael was sixth in the PSAC in yards and eighth in receptions.
